The Job


  • Devise marketing communication programs and create clear product messaging and media initiatives
  • Develop innovative strategies for differentiating and positioning the company
  • Work closely with senior management, product management, and marketing executives to develop new marketing strategies for all products and services
  • Manage and utilize blog programs and other forms of social media to develop external product positioning
  • Identify and manage speaking engagements that will expand the company’s marketing initiatives
  • Spearhead the writing and distribution of company press releases

What it takes


The selected candidate will have:


  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in English or journalism
  • 7-10 years of experience in a mid-sized corporate setting
  • Proven ability to advance company agenda among the media
  • Technology experience is a plus
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills; both creative and business writing
  • Capacity to multi-task and drive a wide variety of initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to build solid relationships and negotiate with all levels within an organization
  • Ability to integrate various PR and marketing strategies, including non-traditional, viral, and word-of-mouth campaigns
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and networking skills

This opportunity is based in the company’s Massachusetts headquarters and will require some travel. Candidates from outside the region will be considered, and relocation assistance may be available for the right individual.
