Car Tips - Surety Bonds for Vehicle Dealers

Quany Payne 8 years ago 0

Auto dealers in most states must file a surety bond with the state's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) before they can receive their auto dealer license. Unfortunately, purchasing an auto dealer bond can be one of the most confusing parts of getting a dealer license. That's why we developed the following comprehensive guide to auto dealer bonding.

Surety bonds are designed to protect customers and the state from auto dealers that commit fraud. A surety bond will help ensure that your dealership will follow the car dealership legislation and regulations in your state.

On this page you'll find a general overview of dealership surety bonds. For specific information about what type of surety bond you'll need and what documents you'll need to submit to satisfy the surety bond requirement of your dealership licensing process, please contact the appropriate motor vehicle agency in your state.

General Surety Bond Requirements

As with other surety bond types, auto dealer bonds provide financial guarantees that help regulate the industry. Auto dealer bonds protect customers, sellers, financial enterprises, and/or government agencies. If a dealer commits fraud or conducts business in other unethical ways, the bond helps these entities recover from any resulting financial loss.

Additionally, having a surety bond gives your dealership credibility to both your customers and the appropriate agencies in your state.

Depending on where you work and what kind of dealership you plan to operate, you might need to file one of many different auto dealer bond types. Some common ones include:

- DMV bonds.

- RV bonds.

- Motorcycle dealer bonds.

- Used car dealer bonds.

- Wholesale car dealer bonds.

No matter the specific name of the bond, they work in the same basic way. If a bonded motor vehicle dealer breaks the bond's terms, the wronged party (i.e. a customer, bank, or government agency) can make a claim against the bond to get compensation.

Vehicle Dealership Surety Bonds in Every State

The state agency that is in charge of licensing auto dealers should tell you if you need a bond before you begin the application process. If you haven't been told that you need a bond, it's a good idea to contact the agency and make sure you don't need one. You might also take the time to learn more about the dealer licensing process in your state.

Generally, obtaining and filing a surety bond is a normal part of the dealer licensing process in every state.

Cost of a Surety Bond for Your Dealership

- The exact price you'll pay for a surety bond will vary for a few reasons, such as:

- The required surety bond amount.

- Your application and financial credentials.

- If you choose to finance your bond premium.

- Your credit score.

Generally, if your financial credentials qualify you for the standard market, your premium could be calculated as just 1% of the bond amount, which would only be $500 for a standard $50,000 bond. Conversely, dealers with poor credit could pay a premium that's a higher percentage of the bond amount. The best way to determine your exact surety bond cost is get a free price quote from a surety provider.

Car Insurance Claims FAQs

Ashton Grimm 8 years ago 0

Car insurance claims can be confusing. Here are some common questions and answers about filing claims with your car insurance company.

How do I file a claim?

Many car insurance companies offer multiple avenues to file a claim. You may be able to file:

- In person.

- By phone.

- Online.

- Via a mobile app provided by the company.

Essentially, you'll need to provide some basic information (see next FAQ) and provide accident details. To learn more, visit our How to File a Claim page.

What do I do immediately after an accident?

Immediately after an accident:

- Check to see if any parties need urgent first aid attention.

- Do not move the vehicles, unless they are endangering oncoming traffic.

- Contact the authorities for medical and police services.

Once help is on the way:

- Gather the VIN and license plate numbers of all vehicles involved.

- Exchange the following information with the other driver(s):

- Names.

- Addresses, phone numbers, and insurance information.

- Do not apologize or admit fault. Avoid discussing the accident until the authorities arrive.

- Take photos of damages.

Once you have the necessary information, give it to your car insurance provider.

What information do I need to have to file a claim?

Each insurance provider has a different set of information required when filing a car insurance claim. You will need, at a minimum, the following:

- Policy number (listed on your insurance card).

- Date of the accident.

- Location of the accident.

- Description of how the accident occurred.

- Name, address, license plate, and insurance information for the other party involved.

- Name of the police department involved (if applicable).

- Police report number (if applicable).

New Mothers Support Group Singapore: Socials @ Gymboree

Ashley Weeks 8 years ago 0

A great opportunity to meet other Mums in a similar situation to yourself.

New Mothers Support Group Singapore - As a not-for-profit society we have to keep our running costs as low as possible so that we can keep giving you, our members, the best value. And from time to time, the cost of running events rises. For more than 6 years we've been able to offer our socials at the same price but unfortunately we have had to take the decision to raise our entry fees for our Gymboree socials. From 1 March 2016 the entry fee for our Gymboree Tanglin socials will increase from $5 per child to $7 per child.

  • Please note that no food or drinks are permitted at Gymboree. However, there are a couple of benches just outside where you can feed your baby.
  • The Gymboree caters for children aged under 60 months and children above this age will not be permitted to enter the play area.
  • All adults must wear socks within the Gymboree centre. So please pack some in your bag before coming along, otherwise a pair can be bought for S$2.00 at the centre.
  • Please note, due to the popularity of this venue, we have started a first come / first served system as there is a limit to the number of children/adults permitted in the Gymboree Room at any one time.
  • Meet-up registration does not guarantee you a place at our regular socials.
  • As entrance numbers are limited, we respectfully remind you that helpers are not allowed to attend our events.

You can register your interest in attending this event via the NMSG Meetup Group

When?

Gymboree @ Tanglin Mall is between 3pm to 4.30pm on the following dates in 2016:

Hawkfield Gallery Review: Enhancing and Preserving American Art

Shexiamae Chiaxin 8 years ago 0

How will you respond if someone asks you on what art is? The meaning of art is very broad with many answers. It is one component of culture that lets the artist express his feelings, thoughts and observation. Its concept is subjective, open and debatable.

So how or when will you say that a piece of work is an art? Do you have the knowledge to distinguish good art from bad art? If not, then look for a fine art consultant and a prominent art gallery to help and guide you in buying art. Hawkfield Gallery consultants and its fine art consultants had established a good reputation in the art industry because of their knowledge and capability to recognize talented artists and worthy artworks.

Hawkfield Gallery's massive art collection spans from the 20th to 21st century American visual arts. The gallery's fine art consultants provide quality service to people who are willing to sell or buy impressive artworks. They don't just focus on collectors; they work closely with first-time buyers too. Their wide experiences in buying and selling art have helped first-time buyers to start their own collection and to motivate those who want to enter the art industry.

Check out the website of Hawkfield Gallery or ask for an appointment with them. Their gallery is located in a shore town midway between Boston and Cape Cod, a place where you can see breathtaking landscapes. It is housed in an 1850's farmhouse and became a tearoom, craft shop and lending library in the 1920's. The farmhouse is located in an area beside the historic North River. Tourists can take a stroll along woodland trails which lead to a pier on the river. Moreover, the place has numerous antique shops, galleries of historic sites in the South Shore's Plymouth County.

Hawkfield Consultants Review: A Sense of Happiness from Arts

Faith Watson 8 years ago 0

Art has a very broad definition and it varies depending on who you’re asking it to. In an art collector’s perspective, art is something that can be acquired inside an art gallery. And that answer definitely makes sense.

Art galleries know what good art is, it is a place where visitors can look and appreciate worthy visual forms of art. They have the technical and artistic capabilities to identify exquisite art works that have a significant value in the art industry. From here, a client can buy something that interests him whether as an addition to his expansive collection or simply because of the attraction brought by the piece.

Do you have a love for art and want to start collecting? If yes, then you must have sufficient art knowledge and competent buying skills. The trusted and proven fine art consultants of Hawkfield Gallery have a vast experience in buying and selling of arts. They have gained the in-depth knowledge needed to educate and assist art enthusiasts in enhancing their own collection so they wouldn't be taken advantage in the process. Art collecting is a passion that lasts a lifetime, it is shared by those who love art and wish to expand appreciation for great and significant art works.

Hawkfield Gallery has the intent to promote American fine art and folk art. To recognize and appreciate American culture and history brought by the art works they exhibit. They have a good reputation in advertising arts and its artists. Visit Hawkfield Gallery, you won’t fully appreciate art if you don’t see it in person. It is one benefit and importance of having art galleries in our society. They let you experience and appreciate art in its full potential.

Hawkfield Gallery is in Massachusetts located on a shore town midway between Boston and Cape Cod. It is housed in an 1850’s farmhouse and became a tearoom, craft shop and lending library in the 1920’s. The farmhouse is located in a neighborhood next to the historic North River and was once operated as a dairy farm up to the 1960’s.

Owning an art is personal and has numerous benefits, it sometimes represents the owner’s value, personality and outlook on life. When you collect art, you’ll learn about culture and history far and wide. Invest in art and bring home an artwork from Hawkfield Gallery. It will fill your soul with wonder and contentment, a sense of happiness in knowing that you somehow contribute in preserving American culture and heritage.
